At MNE 2014 in Lausanne, we will reintroduce the formerly traditional short courses that allow established researchers and engineers or newcomers to get an efficient overview of the state-of-the-art in a specific topic.

We will offer a series of tutorials in the emerging field of 3D nano- and micro manufacturing, with a look from both the fundamental and the industrial aspects.

3D fabrication, rapid prototyping, and additive manufacturing will become increasingly important technologies for the MNE community since mass customization of device manufacturing is expected to radically lower micro- and nano manufacturing costs.

This will be a unique opportunity to have the full overview of this new field in one day and to understand the benefits for your own R&D and business activities.
